Fabrication of Novel Dental Post via Rapid Injection Molding

Abstract:In this paper, we adopted rapid injection molding method to fabricate novel dental post. This method possesses high precision, high production efficiency, high degree of automation, energy saving and environmental friendliness. The kerosene solvent extraction mechanism is discussed. The microstructure evolution of the extraction process is characterized and analyzed. Three generations of novel zirconia dental posts were developed and put into clinical trials.
