Abstract: With the development of the times, ceramic art creation has gradually transformed from the original decorativepurpose to multi-dimensional space creation, so that space creation and emotion communication have a symbiotic relationshipin ceramic art design, which is an important way to convey the emotion contained in the works. In this paper, design principlesrelated to space perception to make specific analysis and summary of a series of typical cases were used to blend the "pass"and "receive", which are the two main steps of affective communication, into the expressions of space in the ceramic artdesign, so as to summarize the important functions and meanings in the space creation of ceramic art creation. It is aimed toprovide reference value for the modernization transformation of ceramic art creation and inject new vitality for the pluralism,humanity and the development of the times of contemporary ceramic arts.
