Abstract: Flavonoid as the substitute group, which strengthens ability of cmplexing potassium by the crown ether arnd enhances potassium sensitivity of the crown ether. The two potassium ion - selective electrodes have been preparecl in our work. Each of the two mc1mbrane contions respectively little different in chemical structure flavanoicl crown ether as the electronctive component. The response functions have been determined. Use of analysis for ceramic raw materials has been investigated. With lithium acetate as the ion strength adjust, at PH= 6, determination of K2O m ceramic material, such as fielclspare and kaolin, has been carried out by single and Gran addition method. The data show that the chemical sensors, applying to analysis  of above ceramic materials, have a fairly good precision and selectivity

Keywords: flavonoid crown ether, ion - selective electrode, potassium oxide, standard addition method, ceramic materials
