Abstract: This paper introduces the testing on high-quartz porcelain in high temperature calcination by the X - ray diffraction, declaring the high-quartz porcelain of changing and getting the new phase. The result shows that there is not any phase transformation during the period of heating from room temperature to 500℃. The only chang is the diffraction peak of the phase of Kaolinite (Al2O3·2SiO2·2H2O)reduce from 500℃ to 600℃. The experiment result shows that the transition temperature of high - quartz porcelain is about 1100℃ to 1300℃ and with the increase in temperature, the new phase formed is Mullite (Al2O3·2SiO2)and Cristobalite (SiO2) These results play an important role in studying the manufacturing process of the high - quartz porcelain
