Abstract: This paper introduces the testing on high-quartz porcelain in high temperature calcination by the X - ray diffraction, declaring the high-quartz porcelain of changing and getting the new phase. The result shows that there is not any phase transformation during the period of heating from room temperature to 500. The only chang is the diffraction peak of the phase of Kaolinite (Al2O3·2SiO2·2H2Oreduce from 500 to 600. The experiment result shows that the transition temperature of high - quartz porcelain  is about 1100 to 1300 and with the increase in temperature, the new phase formed is Mullite (Al2O3·2SiO2and Cristobalite (SiO2 These results play an important role in studying the manufacturing process of the high - quartz porcelain
