Abstract:LaVO4 nanorods were synthesized by hydrothermal method using La (NO3)3 and Na3VO4 as raw materials. The influences of the hydrothermal temperature and the concentration of EDTA on the structure and morphology of LaVO4 nanorods were studied in detail. The obtained products were characterized by XRD and SEM. The experimental results indicated that the structure of as -synthesized LaVO4 nanorods were tetragonal zircon -type and the hydrothermal temperature and the concentration of EDTA effected the morphology of LaVO4.
