Abstract： The contents of trace element in bodies and glazed of Jingdezhen blue and white were analyzed by NAA technique. The results were treated by statistical analysis. The characteristic elements were determined, and the diseriminant function was also founded to determine ages. It shows that trace element is useful not only at determining the provenance of ancient ceramics but also at determining ages.
