​Fabrication of Tic Nanocrystalline Powder and Its Characters

Abstract: Mechanical alloying (MA) method was used to fabricate TiC nanocrystalline powder, microstructure and proper-ties of which were stuied. Results showed that nano - TiC powder with 30nm grain size can be fabricated by MA andits microhardness increased obviously. The temperature in which the mixture shrinkage rate of nano - TiC achieved islowder about 500K than that of TiC raw materials.
