Abstract: The effects of sintering process on synthetic mullet billet' s volume density, absorbing nate, porosity rate, bend strength and linear shrinkage rate are researched. The results show: Frontal four-tem reaches extremum in 1500% x 4h; But linear shrink-age rate increases with constant temperature. The distribution and shape of porosity is analyzed in different sintering temperature by metallograph. Mechanism of regeneration microholes is discussed and indicated that billet volume density et al and linear shrinkage rate are changed differently owing to regeneration microholes.

Key words: sintering process, volume density, absobing rate, porosity nate, bend strength, linear shrinkage, rate regenera-tion microholes
