An Appearance of Early Chinese Pottery and ITS Contribution to Chinese Civilization

Abstract: The origin of Chinese pottery has been discussed according to experimental data .It was pointed out that pottery appeared 10, 000 years ago in the sites such as Xianrendong of Wannian, Jiangxi Province and Nangzhuangtou of Xushui ,Hebei Province may be one of the earliest pottery in our country .Furthermore, the contribution of pottery culture and its evolution to Chinese civilization has been discussed .
