Abstract: This paper describes the emergence and developing process of traditional hand -made round ware-one of Jingdezhen traditional porcelain wares , including its contribution to the development of Jingdezhen ceramics and making Jingdezhen become a national porcelain production center .It demonstrates the relationship between traditional round ware making and blue and white painting style at the civilian kilns in the Ming Dynasty from the aspect of porcelain technology .It also states the significance to study and carry forward the traditional round ware making technique for the advancement of ceramic arts .
