Abstract: Nano-fluorhydroxyapatite (FHA) podwers with different fluorine content were fabricated at 600'C with sol-geI method in Ca (NO3)2·4H2O-P2O5-NH4F-alcohol system. The effects of fluorine content on interplanar distance, crystal lattice parameter and crystalline size etc. were discussed according to X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis. The forming mechanism of FHA was investigated as well. It was indicated that with the increasing of fluorine content, the XRD peak intensity of FHA increased at first, but decreased later. However, the crystal lattice parameter, interplanar distance (300) and powder size were decreased with the fluorine content increased.
