Abstract: In this paper, a stable and transparent boehmite sol was prepared with Al(NO3 ) 3 and NH3·H2O as raw materials and HCl as peptizing agent .Then some PVA and Al2O3 powder with average particle size 15nm, 100nm or 600nm were added into the boehmite sol to prepare pseudo sol .The peseudo sol was coated on the α- Al2O3 supports whose pore size is 1 .18μm by dipping -coating technology .After thermal treatment, an average pore size is 84nm and no defect Al2O3 microfiltration seperation membrane was prepared .
