Abstract: The Si0₂-Al₂0₃ character graphs were studied in detail.This experiment was carried out,based on the Segal's formulation of zinc glaze and the chart of Si0₂ and-Al₂0₃,i.e.,the regularly varying of Si0₂and -Al₂0₃ content according to the chart with the amount of the alkali fixed.Samples were prepared at 1100℃，1150℃ and 1200℃ in  oxidizing atmosphere. The surface effects of the samples were observed with naked eyes, and theSi0₂-Al₂0₃ character  graphs obtained,which will provide reference for preparation and further study of zinc glaze.
