Preparing of SrBi4Ti4O15 Piezoelectric Ceramics by Tape Casting

Abstract: SrBi4O15 ceramic powders were synthesized by molten salt synthesis method (MSS)and conventional solid phase process(CS). SrBi4O15 ceramics with oriented consolidation of anisotropic particles was prepared by template grain growth (TGG).In this study,tape casting technique was explored.Experiment results showed,the degree of orientation was higher when SrBi4Ti4O15 ceramics was prepared by tape casting at 1200°C with SrBi4O15 ceramics powders synthesized by  MSS and CS at 900°C. However,  there are many  defects because  a large amount of organic solvents are added in the course  of the experiment. Dielectric property of SrBi4Ti4O15 ceramics prepared by tape casting was the best.
