Abstract:The effect of oxygen concentration on the heat-transfer characteristics in the high-temperature stage of shuttle kiln was investigated by computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software - FLUENT. The results show that the oxygen -enriched combustion technology can raise the temperature, and increase the temperature difference. Causes of cross -section temperature difference were analyzed to find the theory basis for the stable operation of oxygen-enriched combustion in the shuttle kiln.
