Abstract: Analytical reagent MgO, Al2O3 and SiO2 were used to prepare Mg-Al-Si-O ceramics by the method of direct sintering at 1400℃ and the nano-SiO2 was added to the raw materials. The effects of nano-SiO2 contents on the mechanical and dielectric properties of the ceramics were described. The results show that nano-SiO2 addition at the content of 10wt%~20wt% can effectively reduce the dielectric constant, and the samples show the highest density and bending strength with 30wt% nano-SiO2.
