Abstract: In this study, imitation of Longquan light greenish-blue glaze fabricated with Jingdezhen raw materials by modern porcelain making technology and firing in the shuttle kiln basically achieved the effects of Longquan light greenish-blue glaze of the Southern Song Dynasty. The influences on the coloration of light greenish-blue glaze, such as the molar ratio of Si/Al and RO/R2O, iron content and firing system, were discussed. Longquan light greenish-blue glaze samples and its imitation were analyzed by colorimeter and field emission electron microscopy. The coloration mechanism of Longquan light greenishblue glaze was discussed.
