Abstract: The union of poems and paintings characterizes a fine art of woman figure decorations on porcelain. The poetic inscription on a porcelain woman painting is a comprehensive decoration to enhance general art effects of porcelain works,accentuating the court ladies' beauty through literary means. Inscribing poems on paintings makes the conceptions more profound and tasteful. Art works thus decorated have rich contents. Their motifs are mostly stories of love and marriage,including boudoir complaints, a carefree life of noble women, and legends of historical women figures.
