Abstract: As a new inorganic nanometer material, nanometer zinc oxide has many excellent properties in magnetism, light,electricity, mechanics and chemistry. Nanometer zinc oxide powders have been widely used in electronic industry, chemical industry, information industry, textile industry, and medicine industry. Solid phase method, liquid phase method and gas phase method are being used to produce nanometer zinc oxide powders . Precipitation method is simple, high quality, easy to control and cost effective, and it has the better development prospect. In this paper, the preparation methods of nanometer zinc oxide powders were summarized in detail.
