Abstract: Jingdezhen commercial kilns were the dominant producers of folk art blue and white porcelain in late Ming Dynasty. However, kilns in other places in the same period also supplied porcelain wares with the similar decoration, thus posing a difficulty for locating the late Ming Dynasty folk art blue and white porcelain. This paper is to make a distinction between blue and white porcelain wares from Jingdezhen and other places in terms of body, glaze, underglaze color and decorative pattern in order to provide help for their location.
