Fabrication and Properties of Batio3/Epoxy Composites

Abstract: The thick film of BaTiO3 -epoxy composite was fabricated over a large area with bar coating method. The curing behavior of the epoxy resin, the microstructure, peel strength and dielectric properties of BaTiO3-epoxy composite were investigated. The results show that when the loading of BT was 40 vol%, the peel strength of the composite achieved the maximum, and was rapidly reduced when the content of BT was further increased, which is caused by the increasing of air holes in the composite. The dielectric constant and loss were increased with BT content. When the loading of BT was fixed,the dielectric constant and loss were reduced and increased with frequency, respectively.
