Preparation and Photocatalytic Properties of Cobalt-Doped Tio2 Nanotube Arrays

Abstract: Cobalt-doped titania nanotube arrays were fabricated by anodic oxidation on a pure titanium sheet. The morphology and structure of the nanotube arrays were characterized by FSEM and XRD, and the photocatalytic activity was tested. The results show that the cobalt was doped in TiO2 nanotube arrays. The morphology of nanotube arrays weren't affected by it. It was also found that the calcination temperature has an obvious effect on the crystal structure and photocatalytic activity of the titania nanotube arrays.
