Study on Key Parameters Control in Injection Molding of Al2o3 Ceramics

Abstract: This paper focused on the solid volume fraction of alumina feedstock and mixing processing, which can be applied in the injection molding of ceramics with paraffin-polyolefin binder system. The influences of injection pressure and injection temperature, two important injection parameters, were studied. The procedure of thermal debinding was designed according to DTA/TG. Through thermal debinding and sintering, the injection feedstock can become a ceramic sample of dense structure.
