Abstract: Anorthite powder synthsized by sol -gel method, is tested by using all kind of instrumentation technology including Infra-red spectroscopy analysis and XRD and particle size analysis. In addition, by studying systematically the effect of surfactant on particle size, we obtain best technical parameters. The results indicated that adding 1% of PVA can evidently improve specific area of powder and lower the particle size.
