Effect of Properties of Zno-Cao-Mgo-Sio2 Addition on Al2o3 Ceramic

Abstract: The properties of alumina ceramics are improved significantly by the change of ZnO-CaO-MgO-SiO2 addition. The sintering, phases and bending strength were investigated. XRD and SEM show: when ZnO content and sintering temperature change, ZnAl2O4 phase, mullite phase and anorthite phase change evidently. As a result, the properties of alumina ceramics are changed because of the amount of phase content.
