Abstract: Bi4Ti3O12 powder was prepared by molten salt method. The influences of calcining temperature and addition amount of salt on micro-morphology were investigated. The results show that grain shape of Bi4Ti3O12 is regular platelike quadrilateral;gain dimension significantly increases with calcining temperature increasing, obviously orientation growth in a-b plane; grain size is homogenous distributed, between 6~8μm when the mass ratio between salt and raw material is 1 ∶1; grain growth follows Ostwald ripening mechanism.
