Abstract: Ca0.3 (Li1/2Sm1/2)0.7TiO3 ceramics were fabricated by traditional ceramic process at a median sintering temperature using 42BaO-45B2O3-13SiO2 (BBS)glass as sintering additive. The crystal structure, sintering behavior and microwave dielectric properties of BBS-doped CLST ceramics were investigated systematically. The results indicate that BBS can effectively decrease the sintering temperature of Ca0.3 (Li1/2Sm1/2)0.7TiOfrom 1300 ℃ to 1000 ℃ by liquid phase sintering. The major phase of Ca0.3 (Li1/2Sm1/2)0.7TiO3 ceramics is orthorhombic perovskite and no other impurity phases was found by XRD analysis. With the increase of BBS content, the dielectric constant εr, the product of quality factor and resonance frequency Qf and the temperature coefficient of resonant frequency τf decrease, The sample of Ca0.3 (Li1/2Sm1/2)0.7TiOwith 10.0 wt% BBS sintered at 1000 ℃ for 5h has the maxmum densfication, bulk density and dielectric constant, and exhibits excellent dielectric properties: εr =62.5,Qf =1019GHz,τf =21.6ppm/℃.
