Abstract: Nanoscale ZnO is a new type of functional products in the 21st Century. Currently, ZnO nanomaterials have become one of the focus subjects in semiconductor materials research areas. ZnO nanostructures show great promising applications in optical, opto -electronic, catalyst and piezoelectric areas and so on. This article reviews the synthesis, properties andapplications of ZnO nanomaterials.
