Abstract: Low-melting sealing glass is a very important material. The sintering property, crystallization and microstructure of Bi2O3-ZnO- B2O3 system low-melting sealing glass were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) in this paper. The results show that as the content of ZnO increases, the sintering shrinkage of the samples is accelerated, and the sintering becomes easy. It needs lower temperature to make liquid phase appear. The crystalline phase is separated out in group B and this phase is α -Bi2O3. With the sintering temperature increasing, the sintering shrinkage of the samples became slower and there are a lot of liquid phase in the samples. The samples start to flow with the help of the surface tension.
