Abstract:To improve its electrochemical properties and long-term stability of solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC), preparation of the cathode with high electrochemical performance and low cathodic polarization impedance is one of the effective ways. Large numbers of studies have shown that, good microstructure and electrochemical performance of SOFC cathode can be obtained by chemical immersion method. This paper discussed the effect of impregnated material on the properties of the cathode, briefly analyzed the relationship between the microstructure and performance of chemical immersed cathode, and finally summarized the application of chemical immersion method in preparation of SOFC cathode.
