Abstract: The setup of Jingdezhen imperial ware factory in Ming Dynasty which established Jingdezhen’s eminent position as the center of ceramic industry across the country is a landmark event in the history of Chinese ceramics. It ought to be attributed to its own development,but the status of Chinese ceramics then should not be ignored. From the historical perspective, the setup of imperial ceramic factory in Jingdezhen in Ming Dynasty is inevitable in terms of time and space.
