Abstract: The effects of pH value, dosages of reactive material, contact time and initial U(VI) concentration on uranium removal by hydroxyapatite were studied in the static experiments. The results showed that U(VI) can be effectively removed from aqueous solution by hydroxyapatite, and when the pH value of the solution is 3, the dosage of the reactive material is 1.0 g/L, the contact time is 60 min, and the initial U(VI) concentration is 10 mg/L, the U(VI) removal rate and the adsorption capacity reach 92.81%-95.04% and 9.28-9.50 mg/g,respectively.
