Abstract: With the historic opportunity in the construction of national ceramic cultural innovation zone, Jingdezhen can build an inland open cultural town, relying on the rich ceramic cultural resources and unique realistic foundations. Therefore, we should reshape the new atmosphere of “craftsmen coming from all directions”, including building an open and inclusive “talent pool”, weaving a vertically and horizontally connected “talent network” and activating the potential “talent power”. Modern ceramic enterprises should be embraced through the domination of entrepreneurs and creation of designers. Meanwhile, it is necessary to have large industrial thinking, be aware of economic globalization and technology systematization, integrate external factors and take into account the production scale, cost and market. To inject new energies into the innovation zone, we should promote the industrial reform of universities and institutes and establish a “benefit sharing” mechanism for the transformation of their scientific achievements. Only when the expression is modernized and ceramic tourism resources are capitalized, a world-class ceramic culture brand can be created. Activating inert cultural assets, exploring diversified development modes of industrial heritages and commercializing ceramic cultural relics are additional strategies that we can fully utilized. We should also explore new modes of cultural exchange, such as building “Tang Ying porcelain workshop”, “World Ceramic Customs Street” and “International Ceramic Culture Exchange Community”.

Key words: ceramic culture industry; Jingdezhen national ceramic culture inheritance and innovation experimental zone; inland open cultural town
