The Society of China University Journals held the 26th annual meeting and online celebration of its 35th anniversary. The selection results of the 2022 “Demonstration Case Database for the Construction of Chinese University Science and Technology Journals · Outstanding/Top 100/Excellent Science and Technology Journals” were released on the meeting. The Journal of Ceramics stands out from more than 1600 scientific and technological journals sponsored by universities across the country, and has been successfully selected as the “Demonstration Case Database of Chinese University Science and Technology Journals Construction · Excellent Science and Technology Journal” in 2022.
In order to further strengthen the leading role of demonstration and promote the high-quality development of university science and technology journals, in September 2022, the Society of China University Journals launched the “2022 Demonstration Case Database for the Construction of Chinese University Science and Technology Journals · Outstanding/Top 100/Excellent Science and Technology Journal Cases” solicitation work. On the basis of recommendations from publishing units of science and technology journals in various universities, a total of 479 demonstration cases were determined through weighted calculation of third-party objective data such as evaluation and measurement results from relevant domestic and foreign databases and evaluation institutions. After review, confirmation, and disclosure, a total of 30 outstanding science and technology journal cases, 172 top 100 science and technology journal cases, and 277 excellent science and technology journal cases were determined.
With the support of numerous experts and scholars, the Journal of Ceramics has continuously achieved excellent results. This successful selection is not only recognition of our editorial work, but also a spur to us. Give full play to the demonstration and leading role of advanced cases, strengthen the quality review of papers, and improve the quality and academic impact of journal articles.
