Abstract:The polymer-inorganic intercalation compounds comprising polypyrroles as a guest and vandiaum pentoxide as a host are novel functional materials with promising applications in many fields.In this paper, a new methods was used to compound the polypyrrole-vandiaum pentoxide nanocomposite. The nanocomposite was characterized by XRD, FT -IT and BET/N2. It was found that the PPY chains were intercalated within the interlayer region of V2O5．
