Abstract: In this paper, based on fractal theory ,the method of decorative pattern design of ceramic product were performed and a suit of pattern designing software which is simple to learn and practical was developed by using object orient design technol-ogy and language. The user can design ceramic decorative pattern with the output of the software. Through the design ex-amples of pattern designing by the software, it proves that the software of ceramic decorative pattern based on factal theory is fast and effective when use it to make decorative pattern.
