Abstract:Based on experimental analysis, an experimental system was constructed to test the fluid dynamic pertormance of mullite honeycomb ceramic. The results showed that the pressure drop for honeycomb ceramic increases when its length increases and decreases when its porosity increases. The p『essure drop increases as the Reynolds number and velocity increase at a certain length of honeycomb ceramic. An equation was obtained based on the experimental data which contributes a lot to the pertormance of honeycomb ceramic in the device to harness the ventilation air methane.
