Progress of BSO (Bi4Si3O12) Powders

Abstract :As a new high performance scintillator, Bi4Si3012 crystal plays an important role in all aspects, and preparation of Bi4Sb0,2 powder has an important significance. This paper reviews preparation technologies of BSO powder, like solid state, high energy ball milling, sol - gel method, hydrothermal and chemical solution decomposition, et al. The advantages and disadvantages of these methods were analyzed. Finally, the paper predicted the research direction of Bi4Si3O12 powder in the future.
