Abstract:This basic structure and loading technology of such traditional kilns for firing Jun wares as dome kiln and windbox kiln are examined. The results show that the well-sealed kiln and its firing and heat holding system are vital to Jun ware's glaze mcolor, texture and decorative pattern.
