Abstract: In this paper, a summary of the technical level, the overall production status of the industry and enterprises distribution of advanced structural ceramics is provided, based on the functions and application fields of various structural ceramics. The regional characteristics of advanced structural ceramic industry in China are discussed. The applications of structural ceramics in the fields of aerospace aviation, national defense, mechanical and chemical industry, bio-medicine, information electronics, nuclear power and new energy are detailedly introduced, and the problems and challenges the structural ceramic industry in China faces in its development are systematically analyzed and expounded.
