Abstract: During Yongzheng period, the series of porcelain plates “Ladies and Babies”,the export of famille-rose porcelain, which belong to the upper and middle level of folk kilns, no matter in the quality of craft or in the painting skill. They are close to the official kilns. The female figures in the picture are quite similar to those in the “twelve beauties of yongzheng” painted by the court during kangxi Dynasty. In this paper, by comparing the expressions, costumesand interior settings of Yongzheng's export pastel porcelain “Ladies and Babies” and “the Twelve Beauties of Yongzheng” and at the same time, through analyzing the techniques and presentation techniques of the pastel porcelain of the folk kilns, this paper explores the creative transformation of this court painting's theme in the ceramic media. Pastel porcelain on beautiful women plays an important role in foreign trade and cultural communication.
