Abstract: The tributed partridge black spot Jian temmoku shcrd was discovered newly. It was proved that the tributed partridge white spot and black spot Jian temmoku bowls and the yellow spot one without the mark of "Gong Yu" or "Jian Zhan "were manufactured in Jian Kiln.The high test masterpiece of partridge spot Jian temmoku bowl was the one with gold­en hare's fur.

    The results of TEM, EDX and POM showed that the body of partridge black spotJian temmoku bowl was similar to the general Jian temmoku bowls,and the hare's fur black glaze was a typical one in appearance,microstructures and chemical copostions. Dif­'ferent from the partridge white spot Jian temmoku bowl,the mechanism of the hare's fur

formation is a typical case of CAS₂ crystallization►liqud-liqud phase separation occurred between crystallites iron oxide crystallization.The black spot glaze is transparent.

    According to the verse of"White and aromatic cloud(tea) is serving in a hare's fur shal­low bowl. " from 《Tea Poem of Da-yun Temple》(written in Tang Dynasty),it was em­phasized that the hare's fur bowl was used for tea set in the imperial capital Chang-an and the surrounding by some literati and officialdom in late Tang.
