Distinctive Research with the Ratio of Glaze to Body with Flux Composition for Famous Kilns Porcelain in the South

Abstract: This paper applies a full new method: by the ratio of glaze to body with flux composition, we made a distinctive research for ancient famous kilns in south China. (They include Yue kiln, Dehua kiln and Jingdezhen kiln.) The re­sult shows that the new method is concise and effective: In the Dehua kiln's porcelain, the ratio of R2O(G)/R2O (B) is in 1.30; in the J ingdezhen kiln's porcelain, the ratio of RO(G) / RO(B) is below 14. 00 ; Yue kiln's porcelain is in a right triangle region which is formed with 0.8RO(G/B) + 27R2O(G/B) - 45.5 = 0, RO(G/B) = 13 and R2O(G/B) = 0.5, and the triangle region parts Dehua kiln from Jingdezhen kiln completely.
