Study on the Effect of Several Natural Materials on the Properties of Aluminium Titanate

Abstract: It has been studied in detail how natural materials such as talcur.1, pyrophyllite and zirconite influence the thermal property and mechanical strength of aluminium titanate when they are added into it. It has been discovered that properly adding talcum, pyrophyllite or quartz can not only retain the property of low expansion of aluminium titanate but also suppress its thermal decomposition to various degrees, and enable its bending strength to reach as much as 52. 9MPa.
