Synthesis of Doped Lanthanum Chromite Powder as Sofc Interconnect

Abstract:Doped lanthanum chromite powders were prepared by low temperature combustion method, using EDTA as chelating agent and citric -ethylene complex system as dispersant agent. Thermal decomposition behavior of the precursor, phase formation, morphology and sintering property of doped lanthanum chromite powder were characterized by TG-DTA, XRD, SEM and TEM. The results showed that powders with high sintering activity were synthesized when the EDTA of pH 6.5~7was chelated with Ca2+ ion or Sr2+ ion and heated at 800℃ for 2h in air.
