Abstract:The Effects of 2ZnO -B2O3 glass (ZB) on sintering behavior, phase composition, micromorphology and dielectric properties of 0.4CaTiO3-0.6(Li1/2Nd1/2)TiO3(CLNT) microwave dielectric ceramics were investigated. The sintering temperature of CLNT ceramics was effectively lowered from 1300℃ to 950℃ by adding a small amount of ZB glass. With the addition of ZB glass, the dielectric constant (εr) increased first and then decreased. The temperature coefficient of resonant frequency shifted to zero and then to a negative value. The dielectric loss decreased and then to the stable. The CLNT ceramics with 3wt% ZB glass sintered at 950℃ for 2h showed the optimum dielectric properties: εr =91.13, tanδ= 0.0133, and τf =10.5 ppm/ ℃,which meets the requirements of the high dielectric constant materials for multilayer microwave components.
