Abstract:Antibacterial powders of composite sepiolite loaded with silver, silver and copper, and silver and zinc were synthesized by using activated sepiolite through ion -exchange methods. After the evaluation of their antibacterial capability and their actual antibacterial performance, it was found that the effect of the composites is better than that of pure sepiolite, and the antibacterial properties of the micrometer silver and copper loaded sepiolite composite are the best. In addition, the antibacterials were characterized by XRD, SEM and EDS.
