The Primary Study on the Active-Oxidation of Hot-Pressed ZTM/SiCp Ceramic Composite

Abstract: The active - oxidation of hot - pressed ZTM/SiCp ceramic composito under condition of lower oxygen content was studied. The esults showed: The surface morphologies changed with the oxidative temperature increasing dunng the active - oxidation, the unprotective oxidative - film was formed at last. The degree of active - oxidation increased with the active - oxidation temperature, which damaged the inner structure of material and reduced the mechanical properties greatly.
