Study on Y2O3:Eu Film Photoluminescence Material Prepared by SOL-GEL Method

Abstract:In this paper, Y2O3:Eu red film photoluminescence material and device were prepared by sol-gel method, using SnO2 as nesa coating and SrTiO3 as ceramic substrate. The prepared material and device were characterized by XRD, SEM,fluorecence spectrum. Effects of Eu3+ doping content, sintering temperature and Eu3+ doping amount on matrerial's luminous property was investigated.The results showed that the optimum doping content of Eu3+ was 8mol%, the optimum sintering temperature was 900℃ for 1h, and the main emission peak of material appeared at 614nm, which was attributed to typical 5D0-7F2 electric dipole transitions of Eu3+.
