Abstract: The ceramic friction materials containing h-BN as solid lubricant component to utilize its better lubrication property have been synthesized.The tribolocial properties of the ceramic friction materials have also been investigated using pin-on-disc wear experiment.The experimental results showed that the friction stability of ceramic friction materials improved obviously because of solid lubrication on the friction process.Comparing with powder metallurgy friction materialsthe Al2O3-based ceramic friction materials have higher friction coefficientlower wear rate and good friction stability.
